DB2 DATABASE ENGINEERING SPECIALIST

One of our financial clients in NYC is seeking a DB2 Database Engineering Specialist to work in their office 5 days a week. ONLY RESPOND TO THIS POSITION IF YOU LIVE IN THE NY METROPOLITAN AREA. You will work with the application development team to install and migrate releases to support execution of data fixes, define and execute DB recovery functions, and execute standard database tuning procedures.

Supports DBAs and application teams
Coordinates migrations and releases
Performs data fixes
Develops and executes recovery procedures
Conveys both technical depth and cross-functional responsibilities
Emphasizes release deployments and recovery management
