| Minimum of 10 years progressive and relevant experience in the field of Information Security. Proven professional experience evaluating IT infrastructure and applications, including network devices, firewalls, VPNS, desktop and server configuration, database security, relevant physical security, and other security devices and applications, with a goal of eliminating or mitigating security risk. Minimum 5 years security & audit experience required. Must demonstrate a proven ability to lead and motivate people, set targets and monitor achievements in delivering quality security services. Minimum of 2 years direct interactions with executive management. A solid understanding or information technology and information security. One or more professional certifications required, [e.g. CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or equivalent]. Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Ability to conduct research into IT security issues and products as required. Ability to communicate security-related concepts. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. Experience developing and executing and the ability to develop and execute, departmental policies and procedures regarding security. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and effectively use time and resources to accomplish security program operations. Must have working knowledge of PC tools such as MS Windows, MS Office. Track record and knowledge of computer security systems and background networking, hosting, database and application ERP initiatives is highly desired. Experience in UNIX & IP Intranet/Internet security environments is highly desired Experience with Oracle, SQL, and DB2 Database security environments is desired. Familiarity with Intrusion Detection & Anti-Virus solutions is highly desired. Working knowledge of ISO 17799 security standards, SAS 70 auditing techniques, and/or ISO 27000 a plus. College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
