SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
One of our client's in NYC is looking for a Software Developer with 3-5 years of experience with web development experience in Python along with any other programming languages.Software Development LifeCycle(SDLC) experience and working within a Linux/ Unix environment is a big +. Financial industry experience is not needed.
Responsibilities:
Strong development experience with any of the following programming languages, Python, JAVA, C,C++, C#,PHP,JAVA Script, Django and experience with SQL, or any other RDB's
· Must be passionate about developing technology tools/programming languages.
· Experience working with relational databases and/or key-value stores.
· Experience from Linux/Unix environments.
· Familiar with the full software development life cycle.
· Strong communication skills (Written and verbal)
Perform code reviews and write automated tests
Front and back end experience is a +
Technical interest and passion for the craftsmanship of writing solid code.
Ability to complete projects on time with miimal supervision.
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools.
Ability to work well with others in a team-based environment.
High attention to detail.
Self-motivated.
Well structured.
Good communication skills.
