FRONT END DEVELOPER

 

 

 

Senior Front End Developer (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Work closely with Digital Producers to facilitate on time project delivery

  • Contribute to standards and coding practices and participate in code reviews

  • Work with Digital Producers to ensure proper allocation of resources to projects

  • Use technical experience, leadership and project management skills to guide the front end team to high quality on time delivery of software development projects

  • Develop credibility and trust with team members and stakeholders

  • Research technology topics as needed to inform and guide proj

  • ect efforts

  • Work closely with the Front End Lead to improve and communicate the capabilities of the Digital Technologies team.

  •  

    REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent  work experience

  • 6 plus years front end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) coding experience with at least 2 years as a Front End Front end developer in a high volume environment such as an advertising agency or digital publisher

  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, as well as CSS and JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, Angular and Bootstrap. 

  • Expertise in building complex data and API driven graphical user interfaces

  • Expertise in test driven Software Development and Internet Standards

  • Exposure to back end languages such as PHP or Python is a plus

  • Background delivering UI integrated with Python/Django APIs is a plus

  • Expertise in promotional digital technology best practices, standards, and tools

  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies

  • Expertise in current technologies including cloud computing, packaged HTML applications, HTML animations, API integration

  • High awareness of industry standards, trends and emerging technologies

  • identifies issues (pro-active)

  • Takes action to resolve (can-do)

  • Goes beyond what is required (ownership)
