Job Description
Our financial client is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Senior Systems Engineer consultant to join an engineering team responsible for design, development and support electronic broking. The servers run on Red Hat Linux with a large scale global deployment. The successful candidate must be able to work independently while actively participating in a dynamic, global team. This position is well-suited for a person who wishes to be involved with many different aspects of platform engineering, which includes Red Hat Linux, devOps, and advanced scripting for all of the above. The candidate must have an eagerness and ability to learn new skills and work within a team.
Requirements:
· 5+ years’ experience in financial services
· Minimum of five years Linux or UNIX administration experience, Red Hat Linux preferred
· RHCSA and/or RHCE preferred
· Advanced scripting (PERL, PHP, Ruby, Bourne)
