Job Description
DATABASE DEVELOPER
In this newly created role, Our healthcare client is looking for an IT professional to assist in managing our enterprise index, which includes over 12 million unique patient records and over 32 million identifiers. Work within our data warehouse group and link patient's information to a single universal records, while collaboratively working with our interface group to enrich transactions. Support and develop relevant departmental systems within the Hospital to meet customers’ clinical and business needs. Installation, configuration, and maintain operating systems and/or applications, while ensuring the performance, integrity and reliability of system components.
-*Required Criteria
-Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science
-5-7 years of previous work related experience
-Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PLSQL, skills with JAVA or JavaScript
-Strong ability to work within a team environment
Experience using HL-7 and Groovy Scripting is a plus
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
