Job Description
SENIOR DATA QUALITY DEVELOPER
The role will act as a project manager for Data Quality projects and programs at our global banking client. Specifically the individual will lead the Data Quality project for the Enhanced Prudential Standards Program. The EPS program will deliver new capabilities, data, systems and reporting to ensure that the company is compliant to both the Dodd Frank Act and Basel III requirements. It is expected that significant enhancements to all aspects of Data Quality will be required for EPS.
Manage the Data Quality - Enhanced Prudential Standards project
Perform Data Analysis / Data Profiling
Assisting in the production of Data Quality reports and Dashboards
Apply Data Standards
Gather Data Requirements
Data Quality Production Support for US and Canada
Key Competencies/Skills:
Resilient under pressure and able to adapt quickly to unforeseen work demands;
Excellent data quality skills and ability to work to tight time scales;
Good communication skills in English, including report writing are required;
Data Discovery and Analysis
Data Profiling
Experience of Infosphere (Quality Stage, Information Analyzer, Data Stage)
An analytical mindset
Other Skills, Abilities and/or Training:
· Data Quality certifications
· Familiarity with IBM Infosphere tools (Quality Stage, Information Analyzer and Data Stage)
· Ability to identify and map source and target data fields
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Qualification Requirements
Bachelors or higher degree in finance, accounting or science
Preferred Previous Work Experience:
5-10 Years in financial services industry with a data quality focus
Experience in data quality with respect to regulatory or financial reporting
- strong plus - broad understanding of Enhanced Prudential Standards (EPS), Dodd Frank Section 165, Intermediate Holding Company (IHC)
