Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Level 2 support of trading platform ( front-end GUI, distribution layer, matching engines) for multiple businesses including US Treasuries, Futures, Foreign Exchanges.

- US Unix servers administration (Solaris 8 and 10) : configuration/tuning, ldap.

- Interfacing with Help Desk for support issues.

- Interfacing with developer team, network engineering team, DBA team for troubleshooting and projects.

- Scripting for automation, reporting and monitoring.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Intermediate Unix System Admin level (Solaris preferred).

- Good knowledge of TCP/IP.

- Scripting or programming experience (Perl, Shell, VB)

• 5+ years experience in engineering, engineering support, or technical support environment or equivalent consulting experience

• Prior customer-facing experience a plus
