DESKTOP/POS SUPPORT SPECIALIST
One of our clients in Southern New Jersey is currently seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist with POS experience. to join its team! This position will play a key role in supporting the daily operations and configuration of their desktops and point of sales system. . The successful candidates will work with staff and vendors to identify issues and be responsible for upgrades and implementations. Only apply for this position if you live in the Mt. Laurel, NY area and have POS systems experience.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with stakeholders to identify business requirements and strategies around new feature requests and enhancements
- Application of information technology best practices to determine hardware, software and system architecture
- Work with the Technology team to provide technical (i.e. hardware/software) solutions
- Preparing, configuring and deploying computers and peripherals for staff
- Provide a high level of customer service while supporting the attraction and staff in a fast-paced environment
- Maintains and updates IT asset inventory
Qualifications:
- Experienced in Point-of-Sale environments.
- Solid technical troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with Microsoft patching
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be organized and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
